Effective September 22, 2026
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the VialTracker website and web application, including vialcarton.com and app.vialcarton.com. In this policy, “VialTracker,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the VialTracker service.
2. Information you provide
Depending on how you use VialTracker, you may provide:
- Your email address and account authentication information.
- Subject names or labels that you create.
- Vial and inventory details, including product names, concentrations, volumes, dates, status, and notes.
- Recorded amounts, dates, times, locations, schedules, reminders, and history.
- Check-ins and optional entries such as energy, mood, appetite, weight, and notes.
- Favorites, recently viewed educational entries, settings, backups, exports, and change history.
- Information included in support requests you send to us.
You control what you enter. Avoid entering information about another person unless you have their permission and an appropriate reason to do so.
3. Information handled automatically
The service and its providers may automatically process basic technical information needed to deliver and secure the service, such as IP address, browser type, device type, timestamps, request logs, authentication events, and error information. The public website also loads fonts from Google, which may receive standard request information such as your IP address and browser details.
4. Device and cloud storage
VialTracker may keep a device copy in browser storage so the app can operate reliably and protect recent changes. Signed-in records may also be synchronized to cloud infrastructure used by VialTracker. Backups you download are stored wherever you choose to save them and are your responsibility to protect.
5. How information is used
We use information to:
- Provide authentication, recordkeeping, synchronization, reminders, backups, exports, and reports.
- Display your records and settings across supported devices.
- Maintain security, prevent misuse, diagnose problems, and improve reliability.
- Respond to support, privacy, and deletion requests.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights and safety of users and the service.
6. How information is shared
We do not sell personal information or health-related records. We do not use health-related records for targeted advertising. Information may be processed by service providers that help operate VialTracker, such as authentication, database, hosting, email, and security providers. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to us and subject to their applicable terms.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to investigate fraud or security issues, to protect users or the public, or as part of a business transfer. We will not disclose user records to a clinician or another person unless you choose to export or share them, or disclosure is otherwise legally required.
7. Retention
Account information and synced records may be retained while your account remains active or as needed to provide the service. When you request deletion, we will take reasonable steps to remove account-linked information from active systems, subject to legal obligations, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and limited technical backup retention. Device copies and downloaded backups remain under your control and may need to be deleted separately.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No online service, browser storage, transmission method, or backup file can be guaranteed completely secure. Use a secure device, protect access to your email account, and keep downloaded backups in a safe location.
9. Your choices
You may review and edit records in the app, download supported exports and backups, remove device copies by clearing browser data, and request account deletion. Clearing browser data or removing the Home Screen app before cloud synchronization finishes may remove the local device copy.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of personal information. Contact us to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before completing it.
10. Children
VialTracker is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. Users under 18 should not create an account or enter health-related information without involvement and permission from a parent or legal guardian.
11. Health privacy and breach notices
Consumer health apps are not automatically covered by HIPAA. VialTracker does not claim to be a HIPAA-covered medical record system. Other privacy and breach-notification laws may apply. If we determine that a legally reportable breach has occurred, we will provide notifications as required by applicable law.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above will be revised when material updates are published. Continued use after an update means the revised policy applies to future use.
13. Contact and deletion requests

For deletion requests, use the subject line “Delete My VialTracker Account” and email from the address associated with your account.
